The Excelsior Springs Area Career Center offers 10 programs for Excelsior Springs High School and surrounding area students during their junior and/or senior year. Students must apply and schedule a shadow visit prior to enrollment the following school year.
Programs Available:
- Animation & Media
- Automotive Technology
- Carpentry/Construction Technology
- Computer Technology
- Electrical Trades
- EMT-Basic
- Fire Fighter I & II
- Health Services
- Heating, Ventilation & Cooling
- Teaching Professions
Students attend the ESACC for 3 hours in the morning or afternoon, and earn 3 practical art or elective credits in addition to .5 credit of Integrated Math and .5 credit of English IV per year.
Priority Application Deadline: February 16th - Complete Application & Shadow Visit.
Northland Center for Advanced Professional Studies (NCAPS)

Northland CAPS offers 6 strands for Excelsior Springs High School students and students in the surrounding areas during their junior and/or senior year. Students must complete and application to be enrolled the following year.

- Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing
- Global Business & Logistics
- Medicine & Healthcare
- Technology Solutions
- Senior Associates
Students attend Northland CAPS for 3 hours in the morning or afternoon, and earn 3 practical art or elective credits. Students often need an additional hour in their schedule for travel time, and must provide their own transportation.
