Excelsior Springs High School

Excelsior Springs High School believes in developing the whole student by supporting student growth in academics, interpersonal and communication skills. We do this by utilizing School Wide Learning Outcomes, or SWLOs. These outcomes are categorized as Collaboration, Knowledge & Thinking, Oral Communication, and Written Communication. This weighted assessment philosophy provides teachers the opportunity to evaluate and provide feedback to students in multiple areas. We believe this approach prepares students for the skills needed to succeed in diverse and ever-changing career fields.
